Riding high from SXSW

Austin is a really cool place.
Its vibe is more Californian than Texan, but yet has that Southern charm and openness that makes you feel really carefree.

I was lucky to be able to go to SXSW, one of the most interactive,  music based, cool film culture vibe festivals in the country. SoulCycle had a pop-up everyday where I taught class to 50 people at the Spotify House, alongside incredibly talented musical artists- HESTA PRYNN, CHROMEO & MAKONNEN.

NY POST – THE HOTTEST SXSW EVENT WAS A SOULCYCLE CLASS

Fortune.com- I Took My First SoulCycle Class at SxSW, and Here’s What Happened

If you’ve never been to a live DJ ride at Soul, you should run to the next one, even if you are not a electronic music fan, get that out of your head—it’s more about the synergy between the DJ and the instructor, and it’s not all electro beats all the time.IMG_8107

I’m still pinching myself that I had Chromeo performing next to my bike, and Makonnen rapping “Club Going Up on A Tuesday” as I taught tap-backs.

SXSW inspired me by taking me back to my Southern roots, and feeding my wild spirit.

I’m excited to share my energy from this trip in my classes and in my life.
